Professional clients leverage information

LCG uses a dynamic leverage model on both LCGtrader as well as MT4 platforms, which automatically adapts to clients trading positions. As the volume per Instrument of a client increases, the maximum leverage offered decreases accordingly;

⚠ Please note that, for clients of LCG (Cyprus) Limited, the default leverage offered during the account opening process is set at 1:50. The maximum leverage offered to any client depends on their level of experience in trading CFDs. This is assessed during the registration process.

This is done on a per symbol basis, so leverage is calculated separately on each symbol. For example, if a trader has 400 lots Buy on GBPUSD, and then starts trading USDCHF, his/her margin requirement for USDCHF, will not be affected by the existing GBPUSD positions.

Each symbol/instrument is given a specific "margin group". Leverage calculation is done using the specific parameters and tiers of this margin group.

Above you may find all the tables containing the tiering of margin groups together with the leverage for each tier.

LCG trader tiers are calculated on notional USD volume traded where as MT4 are calculated based on open lots.

You may find the margin group of each instrument from the "spread and costs" tables of each market.
